As far as i can see there are no bugs, but if there is please make a topic about it as i will not be taking any suggestions until this forum is bug free.

Multi-Platform Game Reviews / Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Pack
« Last post by Ryan on November 11, 2010, 06:45:22 pm »
Undead Nightmare i must say was mostly all hype. Although if your into going here killing zombies, going there and killing more zombies then this Red Dead DLC is for you. While i must say the initial presentation was awesome after completing the single player story there isn't much else to do then collect achievements/trophies for your profile or continue to kill more zombies for no real reason at all.

While this is not a full game as the stand alone DLC costs 800 Microsoft Points/$9.99 on PSN much more could have been done by Rockstar to make this DLC a one to remember.

However Rockstar has maintained a high standard of testing for this DLC and it still has Red Dead's kick ass graphics but unfortunately not ganeplay.

With the DLC comes with two new multiplayer modes, "stronghold" where players team up and work together to stop their enemies from reaching their objective. The other multiplayer mode is as many as 4 players team up together to fight off endless hordes of zombies.

The Verdict:

Presentation: 8.5/10 - The lead up to the game was quite good, but i feel let down with the lack of game play.

Gameplay: 8.2/10 - This game will certainly not entertain you forever. So think carefully before you buy this DLC.

Graphics: 9.8/10 - Undead Nightmare contains the same graphics as its Red Dead Redemption counter part.

Audio: 9.2/10 - The sound effects from zombies and character voices are top not quality, however the song that plays throughout the last mission of the single player sounds like it was not from the early 1900's.

Lasting Impression: 8.9/10

Multi-Platform Game Reviews / Red Dead Redemption Review
« Last post by Ryan on November 11, 2010, 06:44:06 pm »
Initially when Rockstar Games announced that they had a wild west game set in the early 20th Century that was in development, majority of Rockstar's fans thought that this game called "Red Dead Redemption" was Grand Theft Auto with horses that was set in the year of 1911, luckily Rockstar proved these critics wrong with possibly the best game seen across all consoles since the release of Halo and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

While Red Dead Redemption or "RDR" for short has only been out for a couple of months it already has a handful of game add-ons for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles. Some of which have to be bought and some of which are "on the house" from Rockstar Games. The packs released to date are listed below.

Outlaws to the End - Free Downloadable Content.
Legends and Killers Pack - Costs 800 Microsoft Points/$9.99 on PSN
Liars and Cheats Pack - Costs 800 Microsoft Points/$9.99 on PSN
Hunters and Traders Pack - Free Downloadable Content.
Undead Nightmare Pack - Costs 800 Microsoft Points/$9.99 on PSN

There are a few bugs with Red Dead Redemption, but hey what game doesn't have bugs? Don't be thrown off by these bugs as i have almost 60 hours of gameplay in Single Player and i have only come across four bugs which where very minor. Kudos to Rockstar Games for the level of testing they take their games to.

The Verdict:

If you are a fan of the "Grand Theft Auto" Series then this game is for you. I guarantee that this game will take your breath away with its stunning graphics and sheer extent of gameplay. While there are a few bugs present in the game they will not effect you in anyway, most of the bugs that i have come across aim towards the enviroment and NPC's, not at you.

Presentation: 10/10 - Everything about the Presentation of Red Dead Redemption will blow you away whether you like the game or not.

Gameplay: 9.6/10 - A lot of things in Red Dead Redemption will keep you coming for more even if you have racked up 100+ of game hours - and that's just single player. The reason why this is not 10/10 is because early on in the games' history you did not have a lot of options in multiplayer, however that has been addressed with the game packs.

Graphics: 9.8/10 - The graphics are stunning, as if you were watching a HD movie. However there are a few graphical bugs that arise from time to time which have the habit of bringing you back to Earth and that reminds you that your playing a game, not watching a movie.

Audio: 9.9/10 - The characters voices and sound effects across the whole game are top notch and it really puts into perspective that Rockstar Games have done it right. After all who wouldn't if you spend $100 million US on creating perhaps the best game ever released by Rockstar Games.

Lasting Impression: 9.8 - 10

Xbox 360 Game Reviews / Halo: Reach Review
« Last post by Ryan on November 11, 2010, 06:42:22 pm »
Halo: Reach, the end to Bungie's long line of Halo games has arrived and demands to be respected. I bought the game a little over a week ago and i must say it is possibly the best Halo game since the original or perhaps better then the original.

However all is not good as it seems, a few little bugs and glitches can be of an annoyance but luckily these do not present themselves all that often.

For example a few bugs i have come across while playing Reach in Campaign mode is occasionally the Marines that follow you through the campaign can get stuck or fused with the vehicle you are driving or they just walk around in circles while you wait for them to get in your vehicle. Don't worry though, if you are like me you will find running over Marines in a Warthog if they get stuck very amusing.

Other then these few bugs i have come across the campaign is better then the Halo 3 campaign with no flood in sight and more exciting as well as no annoyance of walking to missions which can be found in the Halo 3 ODST campaign.

The Multiplayer modes are fantastic and will provide you and your buddies with countless hours of entertainment both in game and the return of those little American kids with AD/HD make a bigger return then ever seen before in Halo online play. (Not being racist to Americans)

The Verdict:

If you are a Halo fanatic or you have liked the past Halo games then Reach is for you as it boasts arguably the most original and authentic game play experience ever seen in a Halo game before.

Presentation: 9.2/10 - The game is just simply awesome and a much awaited fresh lick of paint for the Halo series, however it was not perfect.

Game Play: 9.3/10 - The gameplay both online and offline is the same as most of the other Halo games but kudos to Bungie for making it original.

Graphics: 9.7/10 - The graphics are a big step up between ODST and Reach, everything in the Halo world has either been retextured or remodeled. However the environment still looks the same as if the game was made when Halo 3 was.

Audio: 9.7: - The voices of all the characters in Reach are top notch as well as the sound effects, however that one small problem of high pitched voices while in cinematics still exists

Lasting Impression: 9.4/10

If you want a more thorough review or a video review then please have a look at IGN's review of Halo: Reach which can be found on the other side of this link.
