Halo: Reach, the end to Bungie's long line of Halo games has arrived and demands to be respected. I bought the game a little over a week ago and i must say it is possibly the best Halo game since the original or perhaps better then the original.
However all is not good as it seems, a few little bugs and glitches can be of an annoyance but luckily these do not present themselves all that often.
For example a few bugs i have come across while playing Reach in Campaign mode is occasionally the Marines that follow you through the campaign can get stuck or fused with the vehicle you are driving or they just walk around in circles while you wait for them to get in your vehicle. Don't worry though, if you are like me you will find running over Marines in a Warthog if they get stuck very amusing.
Other then these few bugs i have come across the campaign is better then the Halo 3 campaign with no flood in sight and more exciting as well as no annoyance of walking to missions which can be found in the Halo 3 ODST campaign.
The Multiplayer modes are fantastic and will provide you and your buddies with countless hours of entertainment both in game and the return of those little American kids with AD/HD make a bigger return then ever seen before in Halo online play. (Not being racist to Americans)
The Verdict:If you are a Halo fanatic or you have liked the past Halo games then Reach is for you as it boasts arguably the most original and authentic game play experience ever seen in a Halo game before.
Presentation: 9.2/10 - The game is just simply awesome and a much awaited fresh lick of paint for the Halo series, however it was not perfect.
Game Play: 9.3/10 - The gameplay both online and offline is the same as most of the other Halo games but kudos to Bungie for making it original.
Graphics: 9.7/10 - The graphics are a big step up between ODST and Reach, everything in the Halo world has either been retextured or remodeled. However the environment still looks the same as if the game was made when Halo 3 was.
Audio: 9.7: - The voices of all the characters in Reach are top notch as well as the sound effects, however that one small problem of high pitched voices while in cinematics still exists
Lasting Impression: 9.4/10
